Ghana earn an important first leg win in the second round stage of the continental qualifiers for the next FIFA U-20 Women�s World Cup.
The women's Under-20 team, the Black Princesses beat Tunisia 1-0 in the first leg played Sunday afternoon in Tunis. After a goalless opening half, Ghana, finally opened the scoring when Under-17 graduand, Florence Dadson, scored the match winner in the 67th minute.
The goal by the young striker hands Ghana the initiative ahead of the return clash as the Black Princesses aim to reach the third round stage. Ghana, attempting to secure their debut World Cup qualification will host the return leg back home on January 24.
Sixteen teams are left in the hunt of the African qualifying campaign. Africa has two places at the competition to be hosted by Germany from July 13 to August 1, 2010.
