Ghana goalkeeper Richard Kingson was voted the Orange man-of-the-match in the game against Nigeria on Thursday.
Kingson, captained the side to reach the finals of the African Nations Cup with a 1-0 win over West African rivals, Nigeria at the November 11 Stadium in Luanda.
Despite nursing an injury, the Ghana goalkeeper produced some great saves to deny Nigeria a chance at goal as he continues to keep a clean sheet in the last three matches.
Kingson, making his fifth Nations Cup appearance says his desire to see Ghana in the finals was crucial as he played on with a thigh strain.
I was not fully fit, but I promised the team that I will do anything to ensure we qualify. I sacrificed for the team even if I wont be able to play in the final, he said. Im not a left footer and I rarely use my left. It was perfect today and was crucial.
