Asante Kotoko have moved four places up the standings in the Glo Premier League following a 2-0 win over Beechem Chelsea.
The match-day-18 tie, an outstanding game was played on Wednesday at the Baba Yara Stadium.Two first half goals handed the Porcupine Warriors the three points as Chelsea still fret with the drop.
Attacker Edward Affum opened the the scoring in the 4th minute before Frank Boateng doubled their lead after 37 minutes to hand Kotoko a league double over Chelsea.
Prior to kick off, Kotoko, lying 11th have now jumped to the 7th position with eleven games to go.
