The idea of a prospective move to Manchester United excites Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan.
The Sunderland hitman was responding to an advice offered by ex Sports Minister E.T Mensah to join the European powerhouse at the least instance.
“Honestly, that is what I have always wanted since I am a Man U fan,” Gyan revealed exclusively to GHANAsoccernet.com accompanied with laughs.
“That is what he (Mensah) wishes but you have to work hard to get there, everyone wants to be at the top but I am now fully concentrating on Sunderland.”
The 26-year-old made the revelation after the now Minister for Employment openly stated his desire for Gyan to join his favourite club at the launch of the Asamoah Gyan foundation on Monday.
“The one thing left for him (Gyan) to do now is to join my favourite team, Manchester United,” Mensah told the gathering.
“So the Chelsea fans would have to wait for him to finish playing for Man U.”
