Midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng made a quicker-than-expected recovery to play the entire duration of AC Milan’s 1-1 draw with Bate Borisov in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
The 24-year-old Ghana international limped off with an ankle injury during Rosseneri’s 3-2 win at Roma on Saturday.
He was sent off just after his substitution for insulting the linesman.
Boateng was earlier feared to be facing at least two-weeks on the sidelines to nurse the injury but appeared very fit against the Belarusian club on Tuesday.
He has been often accused of feigning injury just to avoid featuring for Ghana during international match days.
