Coach Nebojsa Vucicevic is expected back on Friday to take charge when Hearts of Oak take on rivals Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
The 49-year-old left for his native Serbia last week following the death of his father and missed Hearts’ 2-1 loss in the centenary game to Nigeria club Enugu Rangers.
