Kwasi Nyatakyi says the provisional list making rounds in media circles as Ghana’s squad for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations is a fabrication.

A 23-man squad excluding veteran goalkeeper Richard Kingson, Jordan Ayew, Harrison Afful and a single outfield local player claimed to have been scooped by Captivating Ghana Sports has attracted a lot of public debates but the Ghana FA boss insists it is not official.

“I have heard of it (provisional squad) too but that list is not official,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“Things like these are quiet expected during this time close to the naming of a squad for a tournament but as I have already said the actual list is yet to be released.

“A press conference will be held on December 15 to make the squad announcement so we all wait until that day.”

With Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic scheduled to release his team on 15 December it is only a matter of time before we will if the squad is right.

Below is the full squad by the newspaper
