Wamfie Asuowam F/C proved unyielding to visiting Kyeremasu Saviour Stars as they thrashed them 5-0 in their fourth-week “Zone 6B” Brong-Ahafo Region Second Division Football League match at Wamfie.

Another high result of the week’s fixture was recorded in ‘Zone 9” where Tuobodom Santos also thumped Kintampo Zimbo Stars 5-0 at Tuobodom.

At “Zone 2A”, Senase Adwinpa defeated Berekum Jah Warriors 1-0, while the encounter involving Biadan Barcelona and Berekum Buffalo ended 1-1 at Berekum, with Fetentaa All Stars bowing 2-4 to Berekum Raja F/C while Biadan Great Heroes beat Seikwa Nkoraman 2-1 at Biadan in a “Zone 2B” derby.

Sampa United, who suffered a painful 0-2 away defeat to Drobo Barcelona at Drobo a week ago, redeemed their image at home when they defeated visiting Konsia Aston Villa 2-0 in the “Zone Three” clashes. In the same Zone, Nyamman defeated Adamsu Manchester 2-0 at Nyam while Drobo Warriors won 2-1 over Japekrom Mpuasuman at Drobo.

In a “Zone Four” encounter, Kenyase Angel managed a 1-1 drawn game with local rivals, Hoffenham while Hwidiem Ahafoman whipped Ntotrosoman 3-0 at Ntotroso.

Kintampo Sharp Arrows drew 0-0 with local rivals Destroyers, while the match between Buipe River Pool and Kintampo Top Talent at Buipe ended 3-2 in favour of the homers with Busuama Dega All Stars losing 1-2 to Kintampo Marcus at Busuama, all in “Zone 5A” .

At “Zone 5B”, Ntankoro Millellium Stars spanked Krabonso New Castle 3-0 at Ntankoro, and Anointed Stars of Jema-Nkwanta emerged 1-0 victors over Krotakyi Obourba Stars at Jema-Nkwanta, while Dormaa Tottenham whitewashed their rivals Dormaa Golden Academy by a 4-1 victory, Debiso Royals Stars beat Debiso-Bia 2-0 at Debiso as Nkrankwanta Arahman defeated Dormaa Future Stars 2-1 at Dormaa, in their “Zone 6A” matches.

The League continues with matches in all the 10 league centres on Sunday, February 12, according to the fifth-week fixtures released by the Regional Football Association (RFA) to GNA Sports in Sunyani on Wednesday.
