Winger Ishmael Yartey got on target for FC Servette as they drew 2-2 with F Sion in the Swiss Super League on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old converted from the spot on 87 minutes to cancel out Sebastien Wuthrich’s 17th minute opener for FC Sion.
The former Ghana Under-17 star elected himself to take it after a Sion defender handled the ball inside the box.
Three minutes later, Yartey delivered a stinging corner kick from the right for Daniel Soares to head Servette 2-1 up.
However, Goran Karanovic’s own goal in stoppage time gifted Sion a point out of the game.
“I’m always a delight to score. I have targeted eight goals this season and this is the 5th one with some games still left to go,” Yartey told MTNFootball.com
“I would say we were a bit unlucky because we conceded an own goal in the last minute.”
