Ghana winger Andre Ayew will undergo operation on his troublesome shoulder on Tuesday in Lyon to solve the problem that has affected his season.
Ayews season has been handicapped by a fragile left shoulder that dislocates regularly when it comes in contact with an opponent.
He initially opted to delay the surgery which will correct the problem permanently to help the French giant salvage a difficult campaign this term.
But the images of the 22-year-old clutching his left shoulder on the ground severally have become all too frequent to leave it any longer.
The operation will finally be done on Tuesday by Dr Walsch as he played his last game for Marseille this season during last weekends game against Bordeaux.
The Ghana star is expected to be sidelined for three months before he makes full recovery.
