Emmanuel Mayuka scored for Zambia against South Korea but the Chipolopolo were beaten 2-1 in their friendly match in Seoul.
The Young Boys striker notched the equaliser for the visitors 14 minutes after Keun-Ho Lee’s strike had put hosts South Korea ahead.
Keun-Ho scored his second of the match just after half-time to secure victory.
The game was a warm-up for Zambia’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda on 8 September.
Six of the Zambia team that won the Nations Cup in February travelled to Seoul – goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene, defender Davies Nkausu, midfielders Chisamba Lungu, Isaac Chansa and skipper Christopher Katongo and striker Emmanuel Mayuka.
It was the fourth friendly for Zambia since that unexpected triumph in Gabon and a second loss after a 1-0 reverse in Malawi.
They defeated Zimbabwe 2-1 last week and drew 0-0 in Angola.
