Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey has admitted he is under intense pressure to score at both club and national levels based on his sterling performance in the Caf Champions League.
The 24-year-old started for the first time in the Black Stars friendly against China on Wednesday, but was substituted in the latter part of the game that ended 1-1.
Speaking after the match, Clottey told the press he is managing the pressure and will go into every game to do his best.
The prolific front man is just a goal away from equaling the record number of goals scored by an individual in the continent�s inter-club competition. He currently boasts of 12 goals in his name.
�I have a lot of pressure on me but as a footballer, it�s our job so when you are about to go onto the field, you have to cool down and do what you want. I know God is going to help me to break that record,� Clottey said after the Ghana friendly in China.
