Ghanaian players abroad have taken to micro-blogging website Twitter to send their condolences to Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan who lost his mother on Tuesday.
The UAE-based player was informed about the shock demise of Cecilia Love Amoako who had a car accident and later died at the Ridge Hospital in Accra.
Juventus midfielder and Gyan�s roommate while on international duties was the first to sympathize with the Al Ain striker.
He posted via his official Twitter account ?@Asabob20: �My sympathies to @ASAMOAH_GYAN at this time. May your mother Rest In Peace!�
Victoria Guimaraes left-back David Addy also wrote: �@ASAMOAH_GYAN My deepest sympathies during ur time of loss.May u take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over u.u are in my prayers.�
Yussif Chibsah, a player of Gefle in the Swedish Allsvenkan, with his official Twitter account @CHIBSONY17 said: �Have my condolence @ASAMOAH_GYAN . May her soul R.I.P.P #BJ�sMum.�
Gyan is expected in Accra on Friday ahead of a family to fix a date for her mother�s burial.
