Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan insists the team is in high spirit despite their 2-2 draw against DR Congo in their opening group B game on Sunday.
The Black Stars surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with the Congolese at the Nelson Mandela Bay in Port Elizabeth.
Italy-based duo Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Kwadwo Asamoah were on target for the Black Stars while TP Mazembe playmaker Tresor Mputu and Mbokan grabbed the equalizer.
Many Ghanaians soccer fans were left disappointed but the Al Ain striker insists team confidence is still high among his colleagues.
We know the supporters are not happy but I believe we also did our best, Gyan said
Confidence is still very much high in camp and well not be distracted by this draw.
Well continue to work hard and ensure we attain our ultimate.
The Black Stars will next play Mali in a must-win game on Thursday.
