Ghana book their place at the 2014 African Nations Championship following Benin's withdrawal from the competition.
The Confederation of African Football confirmed Benin's decision to the Ghana Football Association, thus handing Ghana passage to the Championship as they pick one of the three slots from Zone West B.
Ghana's home-based national team were scheduled to play Benin away this weekend in the first leg match in the first round of qualifiers.
South Africa will host next year's competition designed by CAF for only home-based players of its member countries.
