Dede Ayew and his brother, Jordan Ayew have ended their self-imposed exit from Black Stars duties, and have dispatched an emissary, Fiifi Tackie, their publicist to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to hand in their written decision.

The return of the Olympique Marseille duo means the Black Stars virtually have a full house to pick from for their 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Chipolopolo of Zambia on Friday, September 6 in Kumasi.

Only on Thursday, the AC Milan duo of Sulley Ali Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng submitted to conditions set by the GFA to render apologies for various discordant behaviours, which compliance the FA publicly acknowledged.

Dede and Jordan Ayew in February this year wrote to the GFA and asked to be excused from international duties in what was widely held to be acts of insolence.

Dede, quoting a number of issues or matters that have occurred quite recently, especially with regard to my relationship with the management team of the senior national team, the Black Stars, said his exit was temporary and was intended to help him pull himself together.

Jordan on the other hand wrote among others, that; The reasons for my decision, although personal, I believe, would eventually inure to the benefit of the Black Stars, the reason being that in this period of my temporary absence I intend not only to work hard in my club as a young player so I can obtain the quality, experience and stature necessary for a call up to play in the national team, but also ensure that my membership of the national team when I soon come out of my temporary resignation endures in a more secure manner so as to avoid the situation where I am unsure as to when my services are required for the national team.

Jordan complained of being considered second-fiddle to others in the Black Stars whom he thought did not play better than him, and his elder brother appeared to back his conviction.

President John Mahama and the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II have at different times mediated the impasse, with the Ghana Football Association and the Black Stars management and technical teams insisting on the two writing to confirm their return.
