Newly appointed deputy coach of the Porcupine Warriors is poised to help his side retain the domestic diadem for the third time running
Assistant coach of Asante Kotoko Michael Osei said he is ready to help coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani win more laurels for the Porcupine Warriors.
Osei, who joined the defending league champions from New Edubiase United last month as first team deputy coach, told Bolgatanga-based GBC Ura Radio, that his aim is to help Kotoko retain their league title and do well in the Caf Champions League.
The 38-year-old, however, admits that working with Kotoko comes with massive pressure.
I am happy joining my boyhood club. Kotoko is a big club and having played for the club as a player I know the demands of the fans of the team and I am ready for it, Osei stated.
I will work hard to help the head coach to make Kotoko a fearsome side in the league and do very well in Africa.
The former Black Stars striker obtained his coaching certificates in Germany and worked with the youth side of FSV Frankfurt before returning home in 2011 to join New Edubiase United as their assistant coach.
The Kumasi-based side will be gunning to defend their league title for the third consecutive season when the 2013-14 league campaign start on September 15.
