The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has willed the Black Stars to exhibit mental toughness in their crucial World Cup Group D qualifier against the Chipolopolos of Zambia in Kumasi on Friday.
“The whole nation is counting on you to deliver and I know psychologically you are prepared for this all-important encounter”, the Asantehene said when he visited the Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium on Wednesday, during a training session.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu entreated the Stars to concentrate on the match, saying it was imperative that they eschewed all forms of complacency to achieve their objectives.
He charged the team to strive to adhere to tactical discipline by playing according to instructions.
“You should listen to what the technical team tells you. Without discipline it will be difficult to achieve your aim.'
Ghana must avoid defeat to qualify for next round of the qualifiers.
