Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he borrowed Fernando Torres's clippers to cut his own hair during the international break because it was cheap to do so.
He also says in the obvious joke that he had to send a picture of his new look to his wife to make sure he would be allowed in the house before returning home.
"I asked Fernando to give me his machine and I did it myself in front of the mirror. It's nice and cheap," he said. "Mrs Mourinho, I sent a picture before I arrived at home to see if I could go in... 'Yes, no problem'."
Mourinho was speaking before his side's UEFA Champions League clash with Basel at St. Jakob-Park in Switzerland on Tuesday.
Jose Mourinho's side needs a draw to advance to the knockout stages and a win would seal top spot. Chelsea however lost the first leg 2:1 played on 18 September 2013.
