Asante Kotoko will now play AshantiGold at the Accra Stadium following the temporal closure of the Baba Stadium to all matches involving the Porcupine Warriors.
The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association on Thursday announced the temporal closure of the Stadium in Kumasi following incidents of missiles throwing onto the field of play after the final whistle of Kotoko's First Capital Plus Premier League match with Heart of Lions on March 26, 2014.
Kotoko will host the Miners on Sunday in the quarter-finals of the Cup competition.
"Following the temporary closure of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to Kumasi Asante Kotoko, the FA Cup Committee (FACC) wishes to inform all stakeholders that the venue for the MTN FA Cup quarter final match between Kotoko and AshGold will be the Accra Sports Stadium," said an FACC statement.
