The high-flying Helsingborg winger hopes to gate-crash Ghana's World Cup squad after some splendid performances in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
Ghana international David Accam hopes to make the Black Stars squad for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The winger, who plays for Helsingborg, has been on fire in the Swedish league scoring what will arguably be a goal of the season consideration against Hacken over the weekend.
“Yes, no doubt about it. I hope to make the World Cup squad. They (the Ghanaian national team management) follow me in every game. I just have to continue to deliver,” Accam told Aftonbladet.
Accam, 23, has been the best player for Helsingborg since joining them from Ostersunds FK. He is one of the wide players coach Kwesi Appiah can rely on at the global football fiesta.
