Kotoko Oldies To Clash With Hearts of Oak Oldies In Kumasi On May 26

My Sports Organization in partnership with Despite Group of Companies [Peace FM, Hello FM, Okay FM Neat FM, U TV and Peacefmonline.com] will ones again organize a match between Ghana�s most celebrated clubs [Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak] former players in the Ashanti Region.

The match is aimed at generating funds for the welfare of these gallant players after their career in active football.

The match is slated for the 26th of May, 2014 and expected to attract many dignitaries including the CEO of Despite Group of Companies, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite.

Speaking to Peacefmonline.com the Chief Executive Officer of My Sports Organization, Mr. Anim Addo assured that the outcome of the gate proceeds after the match will be given to the players.

He explained that the oldies financial status needs to be revamped.

He however called on various organizations to come on board to celebrate and put smiles on the faces of these old yet talented players.

�We [My Sports Organization and Despite Group of Companies] are organizing this match for Kotoko-Hearts oldies because they never had the luxury some footballers are enjoying now during their peak time in active football, yet they served the country. We want to make them happy so they will not feel neglected.

�We have organized such a game before in Accra but this time we are going to Kumasi. Whatever will come out of this match will be given to the players. They lifted the flag of Ghana high with football but their monetary aspect was bad then. This is the time to pay them back,� he said.

Anim Addo hinted that, Kumasi based most celebrated actor cum comedian, Kwadwo Nkansah popularly known as �Lil Win� and other "Kumawood" stars will grace the occasion to make it a success.

He also urged both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak fans to patronage the fan game of their former players� whiles contributing to a course.
