A couple of weeks ago, Razz Newspaper reported on the hurling of curses on goalkeeper of the Black Stars, Fatau Dauda by his former girlfriend, who is also a former beauty queen.
In the said story, the ex-girlfriend claimed boldly that she was responsible for the misfortunes of the goalkeeper in recent times; particularly, his non-performance at his base at Orlando Pirates in South Africa as well as his loss of first team play for the Black Stars.
Per her claims, the beauty queen stated that she cursed the goalkeeper due to the fact that Fatau was responsible for the cost of a surgery she undertook as a result of some complications that arose in their relationship.
According to her, Fatau promised to pay the cost of GH10, 000 but reneged in his promise, causing her to unleash the curses on him.
When the paper broke the story, the lady confirmed that, the Black Stars keeper had instructed his manager, who initially denied the story – to meet her and find an amicable solution to the story.
The manager, following instructions from Fatau told the lady that, the money will be paid as soon as the World Cup ends or as and when the Black Stars return from the tournament.
When Razz reached out to the lady to ascertain the situation thus far, she was surprisingly excited about the fact that the Black Stars exited the tournament early. She was also elated that Fatau made some critical errors that cost Ghana the match against Portugal.
“You saw his performance in the match? You saw the silly things he did?” she said about Fatau’s performance.
Obviously, she is also very happy that, once the participation of the Black Stars in the tournament is over and with news of the Stars’ arrival in the country, she is very expectant that she will be paid the GH10,000.
She believes strongly that the amount of money under contention will not affect the goalkeeper in anyway, considering the amount of money he made with his appearance for Ghana in Brazil.
She is anxiously waiting meet the Manager of Fatau, who called and promised to disburse the money once the players touch base in Ghana.
