Ghana Champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko is set to release eight of its players, Ghanasportsonline.com has gathered.
The Porcupine warriors who are preparing to embark on a trip to Europe[Spain] to begin their pre-season training tour ahead of the 2014/2015 season is said to be releasing inactive players in the squad in order to accommodate new signings ahead of the up-coming season.
The players likely to be released by the Reds include; Smallboy Kobbah, Stephen Oduro, Godfred Asante, Aminu Mohammed, Bashiru Hoffman, Kwasi Bobie-Ansah, Isaac Boakye and Soulama Abdulaye.
Head Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani who guided the Kumapem lads to a double last season is hoping to beef up his squad with new players ahead of the up-coming season.
