Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan was at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra on Sunday to watch the Super 2 clash between Ghana’s club football giants Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko.
The Al Ain striker was seen cheering for Kumasi Asante Kotoko who were playing away from home as a late penalty for Hearts of Oak ended the game in a one all draw.
Gyan is currently on international break with the senior national team and scored the only goal for the Black Stars in the 1-1 draw with Guinea in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Black Stars trained on Sunday and will travel to Tamale on Monday in preparations for the AFCON qualifiers game against Guinea on Wednesday.
Ghana top the group for the AFCON qualifiers and Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan will seek to motivate his side in building an unassailable lead.
But the question from Sunday’s Super 2 clash remains: Is Asamoah Gyan a Kotoko fan?
