Asante Kotoko have moved to fifth on the 2014/2015 First Capital Plus Premier League table after beating Liberty Professionals by a lone goal at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Ahmed Toure was on target for the fifth time this season for the reigning Champions as his 5th minute goal earned his side the three maximum points in the Week 12 game.
Kotoko managed to hold on to their goal advantage throughout the game as Liberty fought hard to atleast grab a point from the game.
The game which was Coach David Duncan’s first match at the Baba Yara Stadium as head coach of Kotoko, drew massive jubilation from their fans as they remain unbeaten since his appointment.
The result sees Liberty Professionals slip down the League log to 12th.
