Referee Theresa Bremansu together with her colleagues Dinah Segah, Margret Aidoo and Louisa Amanor were robbed by armed men on Saturday as they embarked on a trip to officiate a League match between Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Lepo Ladies in the National Womens League.
The quartet were burgled by the robbers who made away with several items including their monies, mobile phones and some officiating tools.
It took the intervention of the Ghana Football Association who came to the aid of the referees by compensating them with some amount of money to cater for their upkeep hence leading them to officiate the game in Kumasi.
