Ghana Premier League winner Bashiru Hayford has been crowned Coach of the Year by the Premier League Board.
The veteran trainer was installed for leaving the Miners to brush aside stiff competition from Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea in the title.
Hayford ensured his side never lost at home and managed 15 wins (including three on away); 7 draws and 8 defeats.
Ironically, he never won a Coach of the Month award but his overall performance was key.
Hayford is a former winner of the Ghana Premier League in 2007 with Asante Kotoko.
