The match day two fixture between Kotoko and Ashgold at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi, has been rescheduled from February 28 to March 9, 2016.
Fixtures released by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) pitched the two sides in February.
However, Ashgold’s participation in the CAF Champions League has compelled the FA to find new date for the game.
Ashgold are billed to leave the country later this week for their preliminary round; second leg encounter against M. O. Bejaia of Algeria.
Accra Representative, Edmund Ackah, who disclosed the new date for the Kotoko-Ashgold duel, told Asantekotokosc.com that, the date for the Kotoko-Medeama match remains unchanged.
The home clash with Medeama is on Independence Day, March 6.
Kotoko last Saturday played their first 2015/16 Premier League game and lost 0-2 to WAFA at Sogakope.
