Accra Hearts of Oak will appoint astute businessman Kempes Ofosuware as the Club’s new Managing Director. Multiple reports in the media have hinted.
The Board of the rainbow Club is expected to announce the appointment of the former Municipal Chief Executive of Tema.
Kempes is known for his huge contribution in football when he led former Ghana Premier League side Power FC.
The renowned administrator will thus replace Vincent Sowah Odotei who left his duties as Hearts Managing Director after his Political appointment by the NPP.
Odotei left his position after winning the Parliamentary seat for La Dadekotopong and also appointed as the deputy Communication Minister.
Kempes Ofosuware is said to have met owner and bankroller of Hearts of Oak Togbe Afede and agree to take over the Club.
He becomes the fourth Managing Director for Hearts of Oak in the past four years after Neil-Armstrong Mortagbe, Gerard Ankrah and Vincent Sowah Odotei.
Hearts have been in search of a new leader since Odotei relinquished his post with several names including former Kotoko boss Herbert Mensah but the Club have settled on the respected football administrator Kempes Ofosu Ware.
