The Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the African Women Cup of Nations (AWCON) 2018, is to inspect the Cape Coast stadium on Tuesday 28th November.
The team, which would be led by the National Sports Authority (NSA) Board Chairman Mr. Kwadwo Baah Agyeman and the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee Member Madam Leanier Addy, would inspect the venue ahead of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) inspection team arrive on 2nd December.
This will be the first time the three-time AWCON finalist will be hosting the continental showdown as the 2018 African Women’s Championships would also serve as qualifier to the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, with the top three teams booking a World Cup spot.
