Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak are set to name Swedish coach Tom Strand as their next head coach, Ghana Sports Online understands.
Pressure is mounting on the club’s management following their abysmal run in the league and played their 3-1 away loss to Karela FC without head coach Henry Wellington.
Hearts issued a release claiming the coach has a medical condition.
Strand, who has coached Tema Youth, Medeama SC and Great Olympics in the Ghana Premier League, is set to arrive in Ghana in the coming days will hold a meeting Hearts management in the first week of May.
Hearts have lost four games and won three, drawing one of their eight games in the Ghana Premier League.
