The Ghana Football Association has postponed all football matches until further notice.
In effect, the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 matches and the Sanford Women’s FA Cup Round of 16 games will not come off as scheduled.
In the MTN FA Cup, 13 Premiership clubs, 11 Division One teams and eight Division Two sides were billed to slug it out for slots in the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 fixtures on Saturday and Sunday at the various centres nationwide.
However, the games will not be honoured following the GFA directive which also affects the Sanford Women’s FA Cup Round of 16 games.
Clubs who have already made trips to honour their games will now have to travel back to their bases.
The clubs face an uncertain future, as the GFA directive did not include a date for the resumption of football matches.
