Former Ghana captain Charles Akunnor has bemoaned the attitude of the Black Stars in their 1-0 shock defeat to Kenya in the African Cup of Nations 2019 qualifier on Sunday.
The West African powerhouse suffered their first defeat by a 1-0 away loss in Nairobi, with Nicholas Opoku's first-half own goal proving costly.
The team has come under heavy criticism, particularly for their poor showing in the first stanza and their profligacy in front of goal.
"The attitude of the players was not right, if you look at the seriousness they attached to their game in the second half, it was better than the first 25 minutes of the game," he told Asempa FM.
"You can blame them but not much because these were the same guys who played our recent friendly games."
