Ghana captain Andre Ayew has boldly predicted a strong comeback for the Black Stars after they failed woefully at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Ghana's campaign came to an embarrassing end on Tuesday night as Black Stars suffered a 3-2 defeat to Comoros.
Ayew was sent off on 25 minutes for a rather harsh red card and Ghana with 10 men were beaten by the debutants.
Comoros defeat followed 1-0 defeat against Morocco and 1-1 draw with Gabon in second group game, meaning Black Stars managed just one point.
Undoubtedly, Ghana's worst Afcon campaign as they didn't win a single game for the first time in their history.
"The goals we conceded v Morocco and Gabon..you can see there was a lot of luck. We will bounce back," Ayew said.
Ghana will now shift attention to the World Cup qualifiers playoffs. Their opponent will be revealed on Saturday when the draw is conducted.
