Annor Walker, Head Coach for Black Stars B, has announced a 35-man squad for the 2022 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) qualifiers.
The local-based national team would come up against their Beninois counterparts in the preliminary stage of the qualifiers slated for next month.
Seven Hearts of Oak players, including Richard Attah, Mohammed Alhassan, Dennis Korsah, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen, Salifu Ibrahim, Seidu Suraj, and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, have been invited to the team.
Kotoko, on the other hand, had three players called up by coach Walker and they include Danlad Ibrahim, Mudasiru Salifu, and Imoro Ibrahim.
The winner of the Ghana-Benin tie would be drawn against six other countries from the WAFU Zone B for the final round of qualifiers.
The Black Stars B would be looking to make it to the tournament once again after failing in three of their previous attempts.
Algeria would host the next edition of the tournament, which comes off on January 8–31, 2023.
