The Black Stars of Ghana have beaten Chile in the 3rd place playoff of the Kirin Cup at the Panasonic Stadium Suita in Osaka, Tuesday.
Goals from Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku ensured that the Black Stars win the penalty shooouts after Goalkeeper, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen saved two kicks from their Chilean counterparts.
The match ended goaless after Ghana played with nine men following red cards to Clermont Foot defender Alidu Seidu in the 67th minute and Mubarak Wakaso in the 78th minute after a second bookable offence.
Abdul Manaf Nurudeen was been given the nod ahead of Lawrence Ati-Zigi as Otto Addo has made five changes to the team for the match against Chile at the Panasonic stadium on Tuesday.
The Eupen shot stopper is among five players who have been brought. Clermont Foot defender Alidu Seidu has been shifted to the right in a four back system that include Baba Abdul Rahman, Daniel Amartey and Edmund Addo.
Mubarak Wakaso retains his place with captain Andre Ayew and Mohammed Kudus completing the midfield trio. Felix Afena Gyan and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku will operate on the wings while Benjamin Tetteh leads the line.
