Presidential Staffer and National Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan, has asked the opposition New Patriotic Party to wean itself off the huge perception in the public domain that the party is Akan-dominated by selecting a flagbearer from a non-Akan speaking tribe or region.
