The ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has barred sitting Members of Parliament, Ministers of State, members of the Council of Elders, Ambassadors and District Chief Executives from contesting for positions in the national executive elections within the party in the upcoming national delegates� congress, scheduled to take place in Tamale in the Northern Region, on the 15th to 17th of January 2010.
