The Operations Commander of Operation Vanguard, the anti-illegal mining taskforce, Lieutenant Colonel Dei Alorse, has revealed that since the launch of the taskforce by President Nana Akufo-Addo, to battle illegal mining, popularly called galamsey, 515 people (galamsayers) have been arrested from three regions of the country.
