It was sometime in June, 2004 that I met Mr. Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, who I later got to know was popularly called ‘Sir John,’ at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. It was at an event organized by the Office of the Stool Lands Administrator at the Prempeh Assembly Hall and he was the chairman for the occasion.
