Africa has about 60% of the world’s arable land, yet statistics from 2016-2018 shows that we import up to 85% of our food. By any reasonable metric that is completely insane. We talk about these statistics all the time, and we hear it often in speeches from our leaders but year in year out nobody seems to do anything. Nobody seems to know what to do.
