FINALI Fires Back Directs Claimants To Go To Court If They Think They Have A Case

The Finali Company Limited has swiftly responded to claims made by some persons from Teshie to forcefully take over its possessions. The management of the Finali Company Limited has refuted all the allegations leveled against them and directed the claimants to seek redress at courts instead of threats of force to take over what belongs to Finali Limited. Management advises those claimants from The Numo Nmashie family of Teshie that the law courts are to determine claims to property; law-abiding citizens do not engage in the criminal acts of forcible entry, the use of firearms, land guards and self-help. In a statement responding to a publication in the Monday, March 26, 2012 edition of the Daily Graphic of claims by some persons from Teshie to enter and take over by force and arms the vacant lands acquired and possessed by the Company, Finali Limited wishes to inform the general public that the company acquired and has remained in occupation of the land now occupied by it since 1995. The company also related with the relevant regulatory authorities for all necessary licenses, permits and approvals. According to the management, Airport Hills is now a first class gated community, well organized and occupied by prominent citizens of the country. The Company holds title certificates covering the lands in its occupation and has remained in lawful and undisturbed possession for the past seventeen years. To date, no member of the Numo Nmashie family of Teshie has instituted any action against the Company in any court in Ghana. Management is therefore alarmed at the actions of this group of persons from Teshie who now make it their habit to make forcible entry of the vacant portions of the lands of the Company. The general public and well-wishers are assured that the Company is lawfully in possession of properties that were duly acquired and registered. The statement continued, Management denies the allegation that any person connected to the Company has ever boasted of big names in support of its claim to the lands; management did not drop any big names nor boast of any political connections to attain all that has made Airport Hills the Jewel of the country and does not have to call big names in Ghana in order to continue to remain in possession of its lawfully acquired properties. According to the company, Finali Limited is the bonafide owner of all its lands and will not be intimidated by dubious claimants, whose stock in trade is to dispense violence and lawlessness, adding, it will defend lawfully and continue to develop its legally acquired lands. To conclude, the Management of Finali wishes all its residents, employees, well-wishers and the general public a happy Easter.
