In the Bundesliga II, attacker Charles Takyi failed to make the first team squad of St. Pauli who fell 2-1 to Greuther Furth who had Ghana-born German striker Gerald Asamoah on target. Andre and Jordan Ayew won their third consecutive Coupe de la Ligue for Marseille after beating Lyon 1-0 at the Stade de France on Saturday. Andre did full time action for Marseille but young attacker Jordan-who won the goal of the season award-watched the entire action from the bench. In the Ligue 2, Moussa Narry was an unused substitute for Le Mans who emerged 3-2 victors over Amiens SC. UAE Striker Asamoah Gyan scored his 17th league goal of the season by scoring a brace in Al-Ain�s 2-2 draw at Al Wasl. USA In the Major Soccer League, Khalif Alhassan played 58 minutes for Portland Timbers who lost 3-1 to LA Galaxy. Charles Sapong saw full time action for leaders Sporting KC as they beat Real Salt Lake 1-0. Both Patrick Nyarko and Dominic Oduro played full throttles for Chicago Fire in their 1-1 home draw with Houston Dynamo. UKRAINE Black Stars midfielder Derek Owusu Boateng scored his second goal of the season for FC Dnipro by coming off the bench to score on the 93rd minute mark in their 5-1 at Oleksandria on Saturday. Defender Samuel Inkoom came on after 58 minutes. SOUTH KOREA Winger Derek Asamoah scored a 28th minute consolation goal for Pohang Steelers in their 2-3 home defeat by Jeju United in the K-League. SERBIA Ex Ghana captain Stephen Appiah inspired Vojvodina to a slim 1-0 win over Hajduk Kula on Saturday. Nathaniel Asamoah lost his place in the Red Star Belgrade first team squad as they drew 0-0 at Novi Pazzar. NORWAY Rosenborg BK defeated Fredrikstad 2-1 to move second on the Norwegian top flight table. Awal Issah Mohammed was booked in the 37th minute and lasted on the first 45 minutes for Rosenborg. Str�msgodset helped themselves to a 2-1 victory over Brann and move to third place. Ghana trio Adam Larsen Kwarasey, Razak Nuhu and Mohammed Abu all played full time for Str�msgodset.
