NAB Accused Of Sabotaging Private Universities

Students and officials of the Methodist University College Ghana are accusing the National Accreditation Board of unfair treatment. They claim the order by the board for over 1,465 unqualified students to be withdrawn is unfair and unacceptable. The National Accreditation Board had noted that the students were admitted with wrong certificates. However, the students of the University say the Board wants to sabotage the activities of private universities in the country hence the order for the students to be withdrawn. According to the President of University Students Association of Ghana, Kingsley Baffoe, his visit to the school revealed that NABs letter ordering the withdrawal of the students had no signature to authenticate it. For the board to just publish the list into the newspaper calling for over 1,400 students to go home, for Gods sake I dont know the kind of work the board is doing. These students are being cheated, they are just intimidating them and you know that what the NAB is doing is wrong. We feel that the National Accreditation Board is strategically trying to sabotage the activities of the private Universities.
