Woyome To Sue Daily Guide Over Judgment Debt

The office of Alfred Agbesi Woyome has said it will head to court to institute a legal action against the Daily Guide newspaper. It says it has observed with interest the attempts by the Daily Guide newspaper to constantly vilify and condemn Mr. Woyome. The Daily Guide newspaper today reported that former President Rawlings has agreed to join the NDC campaign trail if President Mills among other things retrieve the monies paid Mr. Woyome as judgment debt. An aide to Mr. Woyome, Kwame Tawiah has denied the publication by the Daily Guide. Per all our checks, from all the stories on the Rawlings' meeting with the Volta chiefs, nothing on the Woyome was mentioned. We have also observed the way Daily Guide is publishing their stories on the claims of Mr. Woyome through the legal means from the courts. The newspaper keeps saying that he acquired the money fraudulently which is absolutely wrong, he told Citi News. Mr. Woyome is facing charges of fraud leveled against him by the State over GhC 51 million awarded to him as judgment debt. Meanwhile, the editor of the Daily Guide, Fortune Alimi has dared the office of Mr. Woyome to sue his paper.
