Muntari's 'Ghost' Goal On Galliani's Phone

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has revealed that he carries around a picture of Sulley Muntaris infamous ghost goal against Juventus on his phone. Muntari looked to have put the Rossoneri 2-0 up in their Serie A showdown with the Bianconeri in February but the match officials failed to notice that the midfielders close-range header had traveled over the line. Given that Juve subsequently snatched a draw at San Siro and is currently in possession of a one-point lead over Milan with just two rounds of the season remaining, Galliani remains bitter not only about Muntaris goal that never was, but also a similar incident involving Robinho in Milans draw at Catania in March. Well talk calmly about Muntaris goal until the end of the championship, the Rossoneri director told Sky Sport Italia. I carry the photos of Muntaris goal and Robinhos goal on my phone, but I look more often at Muntaris. Its a very private picture and I dont show it on TV. Having stuck to his recent superstition of leaving his seat in the stand before the full time whistle in Milans 2-0 win over Atalanta at San Siro, he admitted that he had been one of the last to know that Lecce had netted a late equalizer in Turin. I was just walking around in the dressing room and I didnt believe it, he confessed. I thought it was a joke that Lecce had equalized, but it was true. Its three or four games now that I have decided to stop watching Milan matches with about 10 minutes left. I cant predict the future, all I will say is that we are having a great season. We have 77 points with two games left. Lets just look ahead and we did well to not give up on the Scudetto when everything seemed lost.
