A 32 year old student of the University of Cape Coast is reported to have committed suicide in Anglo Afiadeimba in the Ketu North District of the Volta Region.
Simon Peter Sahiri is reported to have tried killing himself with a knife Friday morning but that suicide attempt was thwarted by some neighbors.
However, the lifeless body of Simon Sahiri was found hanging on a mango tree in a nearby bush Saturday morning.
Emmanuel Atupka, our Volta regional correspondent reports that the lifeless body of the student has been taken to the Dzodze hospital for autopsy.
Meanwhile, the Police are yet to receive an official report of the case to begin investigations into the matter.
