Rising Ghanaian-born star actor, Kwame Boateng recently joined the all-star cast of the new Black Spaghetti Western, �They Die by Dawn.� The 45-minute film directed by Jeymes Samuel will also star Idris Elba, Michael K. Williams, Rosario Dawson, Erykah Badu and more. Kwame, who plays the role of �preacher�, says he is honored to be a part of this veteran cast, and is looking forward to people seeing the film and his portrayal in this very different role. He said: �I don�t want to give too much away, but let�s just say I won�t be your typical preacher.� The short film will depict the true story of four black outlaws with a bounty on each head. They set a date for a shootout in Langston, Oklahoma, where the last man takes the collective bounty. The film is currently in production at the Melody Ranch here in Los Angeles, CA.
