Knowledgeable NDC Youth To Take Over Parliament Fifi Kwetey

The newly elected NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Ketu South, Fiifi Kwetey, has said the NDC will continue to encourage young people to enter parliament to infuse vibrancy into the house. Fifi Kwetey also indicated that there is a long term game plan by the National Democratic Congress to fumigate the NPP out of parliament where according the him they continue to hold sway. According to Mr. Kwetey the last battle ground for intellectual discourse on state policies and governance is parliament and NDC is determined to ensure that the capable and knowledgeable youth of the NDC have a strong showing in the august House. Richard Quashiga, Propaganda Secretary of the NDC and Deputy Minister of information, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa are two of the young people contesting this years parliamentary elections on the NDCs ticket. According to Fiifi Kwetey, an increase in the number of young parliamentarians will enhance the debates in the house as well the countrys development. In an interview with Citi News Fifi Kwetey who is also a Deputy Minister for Finance indicated that NDC winning the 2008 elections was largely the job of the young people and Prof. Mills duly rewarded those young people with key positions in government. The next project is to ensure that these young crop of people enter parliament where actually the final battle to ensure that we have complete dominance of the NPP must take place. So its really an agenda, as young people we were working for the party, then the next moment we won elections then the next moment we came into government. The place where really the job has to be done finally is parliament. Parliament is the last area where the NPP continues to hold sway. The young people have been instrumental because we have a game plan to ensure that we clearly put the NPP where it belongs and raise the flag of the NDC where it should be. Fiifi Kwetey also says he is sure to retain the seat with the support of those who contested for the position.
